I think he tends to play a lot better when he plays like this. Even Headingley in the last home ashes series I seem to remember he was really cautious for his first 50?

Him and Warner should of never been allowed to play Test Cricket again after that South Africa series. But because they were the Aussie golden boys at the time Cricket Australia put enormous pressure on the ICC to give them a nominal ban and fine which is exactly what they did.

If you watched sky do this catching close down video on sky must of been 20 years ago they show how tv for-shortens the image because it’s 2 dimensional, they even show them catching the ball low the ball touching the grass like that Smiths one did and they say that is still caught!

Listened to most of it on TMS and it seemed like a rollicking day of cricket, admittedly I missed all the sections with Jim Maxwell commentating as he just comes across as a typical sneering Aussie ****.
