Appalling batting England - complete lack of intelligence which is odd because the vast majority were privately educated - money well spent - I think not

The balls doing a lot more, but we seem happy to keep swinging rather than dig in. There's credit in the bank with how many tests we've won playing this way. But an Ashes loss, when we've been in a position to win both tests so far, would undo all of that.

Yep, just needed to dig in a bit and hopefully see off the best of what they've got to offer, then ramp up the run rate again when they start bowling dross. At this rate they'll be back in batting before lunch ffs!

He wouldn’t or at least shouldn’t be in this team based on his fitness levels, if he wasn’t captain I just don’t see how he should be playing, where has the dynamic fielding gone? The 87-88mph bowling or spell of bumpers when we need a wicket? He bats like Stuart Broad these days as well, it’s like he’s focused too much on captaincy & let the other facets of his game fall away, I understand he’s nursing his knee, but the ashes is no place for a half fit all rounder
 
So; how many of the England wickets have been down to unplayable (aka "jaffa") deliveries then?



By the way; where the fuck does Jaffa come from, in relation to cricket? I always thought it meant an infertile bloke.
 
Every wicket apart from stokes we gave them away Bairstow and stokes played the short ball well the rest braindead cricket
 
I’m ready for a refresh of this team tbh, sick of the same old faces. It’s like an old boys club rarely do any new faces get a chance. Just see the decision to go back to moeen Ali over a Liam Dawson who has been performing well in county cricket.

Not only that but in every interview they come across as smug arrogant tossers.
