Also when the dust settles, this is a test match England should win 10 times out of 10.

When you consider where they were in the first innings before their hour of madness, if you consider they’ve had the best conditions all match when bowling and batting, they won the toss and Nathan Lyon got injured after about 10 overs.

If they win it’ll be heroic but it didn’t have to be.

Was hard to think this could happen though at 45/4 yesterday,so it will be heroic,or incredible, whatever narrative applies really, but we not there yet

Irrespective of the result today, the fact that the next one is on Thursday and in Yorkshire means that the enmity is just going to become even fiercer. I'm not sure Bairstow can be dropped either as he'll be itching to get back in the fray.

It's what makes Test cricket so compelling.

When you look we have 6 down and need 75 you’d think we be odds on favourite but after stokes there is nothing if we had Ali coming in maybe we have another batter to have a go! The rest who are coming in will struggle to get 75!

That’s why I think Broad should start having a hit and take some pressure off Stokes. Surely the others can just dab it away and wait for Stokes to get on strike.

The MCC apologising to the Aussies for some of their members' conduct. FFS.
I just read the statement, utter nonsense. The tv cameras were on and I did not see any physical contact. I saw Kawarja square up to a member and then Warner who was way 20m behind somehow wanted to be involved. Totally unprofessional from the Australian players.
