Leave Ali in. We need a spinner at OT. Jimmy for Robinson, Foakes for Bairstow.Replacements needed for Bairstow and Ali in the next test.
What’s new?Mel Jones with a face like a slapped arse
I was wrong on two counts...He told you so!
;)
I did , was typing it and posted before we were asked to goto pm , its still thereJust can’t leave things alone some folk can they, but now it’s calmed down, you care answering the question I posed earlier ?
No it's not an illusion, but the likes of Woakes and Wood are not blame if they give their wickets away trying to score. Anyway they didn't so well played. Is it my illusion or have the tail often been playing more intelligent cricket than the four openers, supposed to be the specialist batsmen, during this series?
The only thing that matters is we won, would be incredible if we can win the series from 2 down!I was wrong on two counts...
1. The century wasn't needed after all.
2. I said at least one of Root/Brook/Bairstow/Stokes would fail. 3 of them did!
You are Geoffrey Boycott and I claim my £10Good God. I haven't seen a game of cricket in 40 years or so. What the hell has happened to it? It's all 5 or 6 runs an over. And the way to score 30 runs in more than a whole day? 4s and 6s? It's changed a little .....
Having better batters in the tail than the first two tests has won us the game. Put Wood and Woakes in the earlier line ups and we win at one of the first two tests. I know Wood wasn’t available at the start of the series. No it's not an illusion, but the likes of Woakes and Wood are not blame if they give their wickets away trying to score. Anyway they didn't so well played.
Nailed it.The only thing that matters is we won, would be incredible if we can win the series from 2 down!
