I take heart from the fact we tied ( looking that way ) a the full ashes series with them, but yes, small margins. so near yet so farIt'll be kind of sad if England women win this, as they're looking like doing. It makes you realise that there was almost nothing between the two teams. They're matching each other blow for blow. If it wasn't for that abysmal final over of the Aussies innings in the last ODI, worth 27 runs, England would be have been in with a serious chance of pulling off a huge upset.
Ah well, the two limited overs world cups coming up. We'll see what's what.
5 minutes longer than you normally last??I just can't take to women's cricket at all, just tried watching 10 minutes but that's all I could manage which is 5 longer than I usually last.
Another English commentator might be a thought? We currently get Ponting, Taylor, Jones, Sangakara, Morgan etc, what about Dominic Cork? Passionate, intelligent, played and coached at a high level, says it as it is, and he is even EnglishI've read on ESPN Cricinfo that she won't be covering the Old Trafford Test.
Does anyone know who the South African women commentator is today? My total guess is Dane Van Nierkerk who recently retired from internationals.
