I hate it in test cricket when a team puts 9 on the boundary. Appreciate it’s completely within the laws but limiting it to 6 or 7 would make situations such as this a lot more interesting. Never going to happen but as a grumpy FOC I am asking anyway

Not sure what the idea with Hartley is - I can see the idea of an attacking spinner to start with, but getting smashed isn't going to be great for him.

He is really but took over as the main spinner in the CC when Parky's form fell off a cliff.

A one day specialist who never plays one day cricket due to the 100. Just short form.

I thought Hartley was a one day specialist.

He wouldnt make the bench in an Indian State team. You cannot turn up to India with average spin bowlers. They have feasted on it since they could hold a bat.

He is new feeling his way into test cricket Stokes doesn't seem that bothered and I love the faith he has in his spinners! History shows you previous captains lose faith in them after 3/4 overs then bin them now that is a disgrace and ruined so many players

I’m by no means a huge fan but perhaps a little harsh on Leach. 125 test wickets at around 34 isn’t terrible, especially for an English spinner.
