Waking up to watch the second session and seeing the score card looking like I would expect! Did the pitch do much because I know before looking that the wickets was probably all shit shots not great balls!

All down to bad shots I’m afraid, Root not so much

FFS just woken up and seen the scorecard. Sadly can't say I'm surprised. The top order batting is really poor, again! It's a test match but we seem incapable of staying in and building an innings. Looks like we're having to rely on Brook and Smith again to try and get us anywhere above 200.

I must admit I’m a bit of a “FFS Crawley” when it comes to England batting selections, would’ve had him dropped from the team a long time ago, so waking up at 5am today to see what had happened to him was no surprise whatsoever!

That sit hotter starc he is going for over 4 and over now and we know this is how we going to bat so embrace it! We last 60 overs we be around 300 that is something to bowl at! Big down fall of this is opposing bowlers don’t bowl a lot of overs and not in the field for long
