cricket world cup 2015

first World Cup double hundred by Gayle, when WIndies wake up they can be a threat to anybody.
They can get a lot of runs, but I don't think that bowling attack would worry many teams. They are surely going to be in some ridiculously high scoring games though, always entertainment.

thing is, in Aus, if you can score 350 you've a chance of winning any game, as silly as that may sound, it's about who can score more, as everyone can get 300 down there, the bowling is always whacked about, unless it's England batting.

I think Pakistan will win, but fancy our chances against them, but fear Zimbabwe and UAE frighten the bejabbers out of me, and I think the associate nations have already shown the decision to limit the next world cup to ten nations to be shameful
Two out of two, but what a game. We done our best to throw it away a few times

Well done to Ireland - held their nerve eventually.

nerve wrecking game to listen to on the radio and makes a mockery of the decision to limit the next world cup to ten teams, but surely Ireland now deserve three game series against the sides touring England each summer, shouldn't be too much to ask, or a tri-nations series

don't see why Scotland can't be included 2bh.

I don't follow the game but I'd keep an eye out for Ireland's results at World Cup time. So, I was astonished to learn that they've reduced the number of participants for the next World Cup. Every other sport is doing its best to expand. How do they expect the casual observer like me (alright, younger than me) to become a fan or eventually even player by drawing the curtains on the shop window?
Seems very weird. How did they rationalise that? Presumably, these associate nations objected. Don't they have a voice? And how come the fans haven't protested at this World Cup? Or have I missed that too?

There is pressure mounting to change the decision to limit the world cup to ten sides but some countries don't like the length of time the competition takes, though I would argue that there is no reason why there can only be one or two games per day, especially as the two best finishes so far have been in games between two associate nations.
the result today between SA and the Windies is a great result for Ireland & what a knock from AB

Oh, and start following the game, it is probably even better than football

Great game between the Aussies and New Zealand, who said that games have to be high scoring to be entertaining?
Time to scrap the powerplays and the 5 fielders in the ring rules

Let's observe what shite we serve up this time.

England win the toss and will bat.
I'm hoping to stay up for the whole match.

Yay I get to go to sleep before 2am :-)

Lets hope we can get at least 300 on the board though am not banking on it

Thing is if this England side does get 300 they think it's a good winning score well it ain't anymore 350 is the bench mark of a good score

Sadly, I am going for a probable and comfortable Sri Lanka win.

Might listen to Devourment whilst I watch the carnage unfold :)

Yep. And now we're batting first it'll be over as a contest by about half past.

Believe so , mate.

Thanks, I'm weirdly nervous about this. It could be embarrassing.
