In 2014 Neymar is going to be the face of the World Cup in Brazil. His commercial worth is OT going to skyrocket. For me, given the choice of the 2, Neymar is the only one that makes financial & football sense.

That works to certain price but City can't afford to pay huge sum for him, City are not Madrid and wouldn't sell anything close of his merchandize Madrid did.
And he apparently wants new contract at Madrid that would include big part, if not all, of image rights.
I'm all for Ronaldo but maximum that he would be worth, and I guess even that is too much, is something in the line of what Madrid paid for him.

I'd be shocked if any of them would be City player.
Ronaldo is too unrealistic with money involved and Neymar pretty much can chose between Madrid or Barcelona whenever he wants, and there's no chance he'll chose City in that situation.

If you buy Ronaldo why do you take him only on a 3-year contract after spending what would be a world record transfer fee? To get him to lower his wages at the end of it? Ronaldo will be a beast well into his 30s anyway.
