Cristiano Ronaldo

It's really funny how he's such a diver yet Barton took him out in the first minute of that game and he got straight back up and shook hands, a mans game.

Marewood has some links with Nike don't he? perhaps he can pull a few strings.

04 September 2012That I am feeling sad and have expressed this sadness has created a huge stir. I am accused of wanting more money, but one day it will be shown that this is not the case. At this point, I just want to guarantee to the Real Madrid fans that my motivation, dedication, commitment and desire to win all competitions will not be affected. I have too much respect for myself and for Real Madrid to ever give less to the club than all I am capable of. Abrazos to all madridistas

With all due respect to the Russian League and French League, they are too small for a player of Ronaldo's stature. He will never be in contention for the Ballon' D'or or World Player Of The Year awards being in those leagues if you ask me.

The only issue for me is that Madrid will want the next big thing to replace him, and thats is Aguero in my opinion, and I really do not want him going anywhere. My only hope of us getting Ronaldo and keeping Sergio at the same time is that Sergio would lose all his love from the Athletico Madrid fans, he won his fair share there so I cannot see him wanting to be hated by the club that made him star and brought his name to the world stage.

I would have Ronaldo in a heartbeat and his shirt sales, merchandise etc etc.. would cover most of his fee, his wages would be killer though.

The big questions is, how much loyalty does he have remaining at United? Soon as he signs for City, United fans will despise him.

That would prove his loyalty to City instantly if hes prepared to make himself hated at United and receive death threats etc (the men in black will no doubt pay him a visit) then surely we should accept him?

Plus with FFP I think he would pay for himself so that justifies it..

Is that actually possible?

anyone else think that summat not quite right is going on here ? his time at madrid has been bizzare for me. he's been absolutely sensational for them since his move, theres no doubting that, and his time has been littered with instances of him being unhappy, being booed by the fans, and some bizzare statements ( i would have gone to city if mourinho left being one of them). just think its all going to end in tears for him there tbh

-- Tue Sep 04, 2012 8:10 pm --

and in terms of him as a footballer he is simply a joy to watch when he on it ( nearly all the time in spain ). strong, quick, powerful. good in the air, two great feet, hell of a strike on him, and as his recent goalscoring exploits in classicos goes, hes starting to step up in big games. in terms of being an attacker, he can do absolutely everything. could play anywhere across the front 4 places in a 4231

Errmm, could it be the beginning of the Real Madrid feeling the pinch? We have accused fungus of laying the ground for a Shrek exit, could this be the Madrid version?

52% tax rate for top earners in spain now..

Bastards actually take more in tax than you earn..(well left with)

No doubt with that. Real are desparate to offload Kaka, got rid of some of their fringe players, not renewing Xabi Alonso's contract and they were haggling with Spurs for Luka Modric.

So that's Ronaldo and Falcao in January then, is it?

Would take Ronaldo but not sure if he is that much of a team player but I guess if Mourinho picks him then Mancini could work his magic.
