He's the biggest glimpse into the future you can have for the FA and waistcoat. Finishes 3rd in a world cup so many say he must be good despite the fact the players he had should have been winning it and now he walks away having destroyed their best opportunity they'll likely ever have and its the players that will be considered the failures. At least Martinez had some Premier league pedigree behind him though, southgate isn't even close to his level.

Why are you watching? Just ignore it, it obviously gives you guys more pain than excitement. For me I think we're doing quite well, on a par with France and Spain especially given how comparitelvly difficult our group was we've come out of the groups quite healthy. Hopefully we can take that to the next level. I just think they've done well.
But there again I'v watched England fail miserably for at least 40 years in competitions, these times are the best I'v seen for my countrys football team.
