imo, there is no chance of RSC going on a free (and no news reports confirming the same), as he has done considerably well this season..scoring a goal against Barcelona is the highlight, and would only drive up his market value... think £6mil - £8mil would be a reasonable offer him

Well if we have got rid of him permanent without any wages I take it as good news even on a free. He was worth the 3 million Blackburn paid for him but that's Hughes for you in the transfer Market. He has no value to us given his age and injuries its out of the league so saving 90 k a week on him is a good bit of business.
