CROWD TONIGHT

Thought the atmosphere sounded good tonight inspired by some great attcking football from the boys. Works both ways I suppose.

The Big Fat knobhead in front of me was moaning again.

Caicedo is "a big useless lummox"
Elano is crap.
Ireland is rubbish because he didn't shoot first time.

Knobhead didn't even clap when Elano scored the pen. His loudest cheer came when Caicedo was subbed.

Big fat prick.

100% right citymad.

Had we played shite, the atmosophere would probably have reflected it. But great night last night and lots of noise.

That attendence is good considering its the middle of the week and everyone is tired from work. So that a good crowd imo

Great turnout for as midweek game, I normaly take 2 kids but can't to a midweek game and know others in same position. Crowd were also very vocal and clearly apreciated by the players (Elano just love his hero worship). Just wish we could get behind the Management team a little more. I know you never hear any Hughes out chants, but lets try and lift his confidence too with some chants of his name.

not sure tbh....our row of 20 seats had at least 30 people stood in the aisle..and same on row behind and in front......so maybe there was 100 or so from the empty seats stood with us in 110/111

Yeah pretty packed near me.

Thought the crowd did well last night. The atmosphere is improving bit by bit. We, and most other clubs, haven't adjusted to all seater stadiums yet. We need to develop some other atmosphere creating ideas. I know not everyone is in favour of drums but the Copenhagen fans were awesome last week. Imagine that replicated by 40000 City fans. The arms around each other and jumping up and down in unison was also very effective. Just one thought on Villa, having virtually put themselves out of the UEFA cup it would be quite ironic if their reward for a good season was to get into it!

And me.

I thought the atnosphere was very good last night and I put that down to two things - a tough game and an inspiring performance. The games where we're expected to win the atmosphere probably will never be quite as good, especially when we don't perform. The best ones for atmosphere are when we're up against it and we have a good crack at the other team (chelsea, liverpool, villa)
