broke through under pearce....in a poor poor team, whole squad was defencive so made his life much easier....and he 'looked' good in a bad bunch....
sven, some initial quality ball players brought into squad like corluka, started the season well and went along with the early high flying ride, as soon as form in the rest of the squad began to waver he started to look less and less like the player with so much potential and he ended the season unbelievably badly, was shown up for his poor control, bad passing and positional play, droped from england etc.
Hughes, even more quality come into the squad in the shape of Zab and Kompany, especially kompany who is a big man with very good ball skills and awareness.....richards was shown up to be even further behind in ball skills, so it was his defence which he needed to work for him....but he has been poor in this area also.....
so in truth its been:
good player - poor squad
average player - average squad
poor player - good squad
next season.........if trend continues it'll be
benched player - top squad

Only 20 years old which is very young. Writing off a player at his age considering he's bagged a good few caps is absolutely laughable
I think his problem is that his head goes too far up his arse. When he playsw ell he seems to think he's shit hot and slacks off for games afterwards. Someone needs to remind him that you're only ever as good as your last game

Well yea, but he can put that right tonight!
He needs to look @ videos of what he was doing when he was a really promising youngster who was tipped for £20 million moves to Chelsea, and then videos of what he is doing now and how to regain the form that could have seen him become an England regular.

Zabba should be the first choice right back. If its ok to drop hart as he is a young prospect
, the same should be said for micah. He's not a bad player, but he is having a bad year, and zabba look clever with the ball and has a great engine, else they wouldn't put him centre mid.
