I don't think the players were watching it on TV.
 
Settled team again bar Doku helps with transitions especially attack.

Burn out if the other players who came on against leverkusen can’t or won’t step up.

Marmoush and Tiny come to mind.

Reilly and nunes doing their bit as is cherki and nico. Time the other two joined the fray. Also could be doing wit Ait showing up.

Oreilly is undroppable in this form. Lad is gold dust. Another stand out academy player who took his time and chance.

Strange game that Fulham game ... for an hour we were basking in total control, followed by a dreadful half an hour where we definitely weren't!

Pep has settled on a back four and is now getting a good amount of output out of Doku, Cherki, Foden and Haaland. A lot is being asked of Nico González in midfield. He wasn't poor today, but did get caught out in the buildup to Wharton cracking the post. It's probably the one area that needs a lick of paint.

Fabulous result. I was worried about this one as they can be a really decent side. A couple of silly mistakes but fortunately we got away with it and quality shone through.

Properly chuffed with that 3 points.

I got the feeling that Fodens goal knocked the stuffing out of Palace, and their general play after that goal was rushed, untidy and panicky, they knew we were edging towards the final third of the game ..... they started to misplace passes, and leave huge gaps as they desperately tried to salvage the game knowing full well that a 3rd city goal would definitely mean the end of things for them .... Savinho must have charged from near the halfway line straight through them for that penalty.
