I thought Torres, Mendy, Laporte, Ake and Aguero did well today. Glad for Kun because he deserves a good send-off, and he changed the game with that finish. I wish Sterling and Jesus had a bit more luck though, they are both trying so hard, maybe need to relax a little. But a perfect result, main players for Tuesday rested, and pressure on the Rags tomorrow, but I bet those miserable Scousers throw it just to keep their dipper fingers on the trophy for a little longer.

I went with Ferran who’s quietly scored ten for us this year and is starting to get used to the physicality in the Prem. That little layoff for Cancelo was creamy and he took a great goal too. I wouldn’t quibble at all with Sergio, Fern nor Ake.

Aguero was brilliant I thought. Back to what he is best at. Scaring the shit out of defenders. Fern and Torres both played well too and I thought Sterling whilst still lacking confidence got himself into a lot of dangerous positions and kept going.

Have always had 'man love' for Sergio but I've got to say Fern's job on Zaha for 65 mins was fantastic and that gets my vote.
