Feels like one of our toughest tests in the run in with Liverpool winning on Saturday and with their game in hand on Wednesday.

Having said that when we play well we win, hopefully we can set the tempo early, avoid conceding early and score early enough to quell the home crowd.

It looks like KDB, Foden, Bernardo and Mahrez are bang in form. We were excellent against united but we need to mail that level.
Add Grealish and Rodri to that an you have our front 6.

Hate Palace always up for it against us while shitting their pants against the dippers, hopefully we will beat them comfortably and bring on Fern late on just so he can smash that jerk Zaha.

Sat in the bloody Holmsdale end tonight with a Palace fan (well lots of Palace fans I would imagine), going to be bloody hard sitting on my hands when we score

Had the same experience sitting with a very good mate, who's a Burnley fan (and knows his football inside out), in the Bob Lord stand at Turf Moor about three years back. We smashed them 4-0 or something like that. I didn't say a word, but it irritated my mate that I was fidgeting when the goals went it. I had to somatize it somehow.
Didn't quite know what to say to him in the pub afterwards. By common consent, we didn't talk about the match. But I think, on the whole, I'd rather not be among home supporters at away matches. And especially not when you've got a mate sat next to you, who got you the ticket, and who supports the home team.
He never, ever gives me any shit about oil money and all the rest of it. He knows that I'm a supporter from way back, and I know that he's a lifelong supporter of Burnley. Mutual respect goes along with our friendship. Above all, we know that neither of us are JCLs.

Much like Yaya’s comeback in this game, it could help define our season. A strong victory here would be ominous to others, as we don’t often do that well against this lot!

Fingers and toes crossed tonight, but there will still be plenty of twists and turns this season yet. There’s no way we both go unbeaten on this run in (Apr 10th excluded, of course!).

I’d take your hand off for a 1-0 City win and no injuries right now! 3-0 would be most excellent, 4-0 even better.

This isn’t Woy’s Palace, though, and that’s a concern. That and the fact they always keep their pitch so hard the ball’s always bobbling about, making silky football much harder!
