Whatever, I'll take the point. But that was fucking shocking in the end.

There are so many "first team" players giving us absolutely fuck all at the moment. Less than fuck all, to be honest. They're tired, over-played, and lacking the hunger you need to play for a Pep team.

Walker, Gundogan, Bernardo, and Gvardiol - all of them have been absolutely terrible in so many games recently. Giving the ball away constantly, making huge mistakes, and gifting it to the other team at all times.

Palace created nothing. We gifted them the first goal and then passed it straight to them for the second goal. That sort of shit is unacceptable but Pep seems to think it's fine despite it happening 10 times per game at the moment?

Meanwhile "squad players" like Ortega, Doku, Nunes, and Grealish are giving us so much more and carrying an actual bloody threat when they come on. It's time for Pep to really shake things up just before January imo.

Ortega
Akanji, Stones, Dias, Lewis
Kovacic, Grealish
Foden, De Bruyne, Doku
Haaland

Play that XI until the window opens. Let Gundogan and Walker save themselves from any more embarrassment, give Bernardo a proper rest, drop Gvardiol until he gets his fucking act together. Give the others a chance!

And if Kovacic isn't fit for the Manchester derby, what does Gundogan currently offer us that Wright or O'Reilly wouldn't give us? He gets caught dawdling at least twice per half. Pep needs to put a rocket up his arse.
It will be wonderful when we can play that team and they are all fit.

Nah, even with all players available we are not guaranteed to win at Palace. Remember 21/22 season, the game was 0:0, and all stars, including Rodri, played then.

Some of the recent mistakes are due to several players being overplayed, and some other players being oldish.
Fair dos but our complete lack of passing accuracy (something we are renound for) is concerning

Doku and Grealish were the two standouts midweek because of being direct, aggressive and fast in their attacking.

Everything that was missing today.

A shame really.

Just a question. A real question, because I haven't been able to see the match yet. Is there not at least a possibility that Rico got the yellow for dissent? Because if that's so, he should have been canny enough to keep his mouth shut, especially if he'd already been warned about it by the ref. I'm just asking…
In any case, there is no guarantee that with Rico still on the pitch we would have taken the three points. Yes, momentum was apparently with us. A thousand times, I've seen momentum with a team in the last ten minutes, them wearing out the woodwork — post, bar, everything, complete sitters missed etc. — and not taking all the points.
The real questions, the truly disturbing ones, are: why over and over and over, are we conceding first, and that to a team on their very first attack, let alone shot? Why are we conceding so many goals in general (we've conceded 21, the rags — the fucking rags! who are in fact shite, Amorim has almost said as much in more diplomatic words — have conceded 16)? And why are we relying in the first place on someone playing at full back to save a point for us, and another, Gvardiol, to take three points for us? In other words, where have all the goals from midfield gone, unless Kev's around to do the business?
