the fear all before the game and seeing the line up and then the game was not the same team on paper

outstanding at the back the whole back 4 and keeper worked there socks off and to think little to none game time or training together and they play like that wow, lets not believe this media crap that it was only little palace ?? they are on form and if they had beat us would have been above us, but we never give them a sniff until the last 10 mins and then the keeper ederson was a giant and 2 world class saves

big big win and the result will mean everything going forward from here on in, together and pulling all in the right way a squad of players not just a team, going away to palace is one of the hardest games for anybody and they will give the others a game on there own patch

Sky are right: nervy.

Sadly, I think we’ve only earned the right to stay in the arena. The dippers are going to smash United tomorrow. I see no other plausible outcome, I’m afraid. Liverpool have won the matches they should have been getting draws in. but this is not going to be one of those.

Cheating fucking ****s.

Robbed of another penalty.

We won but it’s important to NEVER let these decisions go.

Every fucking time we step out onto a pitch.

fernandinho on #CRYMCI: "We try to play our football and our philosophy. The first half we scored two goals they didn’t have chances, of course at the end of the game they did...""The Premier League is so tough, so hard. We try to win our games and do our jobs. We sometimes look at the table and know we have to win every game and that is what we are trying to do."

@fernandinho on playing at centre-back: "It was fine. We controlled and didn’t concede chances. The second half we dropped a little bit of concentration. They started to play long, high balls. They had tall players so it’s harder for us."

Pep Guardiola on City's penalty shout: "It's diving. It's diving, it's diving. Every weekend it is diving. Bournemouth, here. But against Tottenham, it was hands."
He is pissed off lol

Pep Guardiola on Rodri and Fernandinho at centre-back: “Rodri did not train one day in that position. The back four responded well. Our build-up was quicker. They have more intelligence and they pass the ball so well because they are central midfielders."

We’re just focused on doing our job!”

Just what the doctor ordered, a performance of champions. Gundog motm closely followed by Jesus and Ferndawg. Ederson was faultless and on current form is far n away the best keeper in the league.

Great show by the fans too, well done to all concerned.

Very good away performance against a Palace side that has had a good start to the season. Apart from a few short spells, we pretty much controlled the game.

A brilliant cross from Bernardo for the opener and a fantastic chipped assist from Raheem for the second.

Great performances all over the pitch, including João, Kevin, Bernardo, Raheem, albeit he should have done better with his clear-cut chances and the two DMs at CB. However, my MotM was Ederson, whose two or three world-class saves made the difference between a win and a draw or defeat.

Absolutely fantastic.
