I have a bad feeling about this game, Palace have caused us problems in the past and are quite prepared to kick lumps out of us as well. Quite simpley a game we have to win if we have any real ambitions to retain the title. Palace have had some good results this year and will be tough to break down.

I suspect he will play Gundo instead of Silva because that's what Pep does, would personally like to see Foden.
A rest for Rhodri and Kun.
A toss up between Mahrez and Bernardo.

I'm going for:

-----------------------EDERSON--------------------
WALKER-------STONES-------OTTO-------ZINCH
------------------------FERNY-----------------------
------------KDB------------------GUNDO-----------
MAHREZ-------------JESUS-------------STERLING

The Walker-deBruyne-Mahrez link up at Everton was the best part of our team.

It would be Sterling I’d drop for Jesus if it was Jesus to come in because Sterling hasn’t played well in a City game he’s started since August.
Not sure that match is sufficient to make that judgement, especially on other evidence from this season. Makrez-Walker wasn’t particularly good against Wolves, and Kyle will likely be more occupied up against van Aanholt, given Riyad doesn’t track back quite as much as Jesus (though his work rate has definitely improved).

My thoughts on Gabby needing to start on the wing were partly based on the specific wing matchups today. His pressing and defending is substantially better than Riyad’s (which will be helpful against two centrebacks that aren’t particularly comfortable on the ball) and we don’t actually lose that much trickery, either. Not to mention the Jesus-De Bruyne link up play is usually very good, as Gabby has an instinct for the deft-flick-and-move style Kev prefers, whereas Riyad tends to want to create things himself (which is admittedly sometimes needed but can slow things down for us, as well). I think Van Aanholt and co are happier defending against a player dribbling on than the one-touch passing we usually succeed with on our day.

At any rate, both of us (and many others) are likely to have a very different starting eleven to Pep’s — it will be interesting how he reacts to the calamity that was Nico’s performance against Wolves.

I hope Garcia gets the nod in this game. I just can't see Pep playing Otamendi again.

He is not even settled in the team yet,he played lb last time, why would you take out the speedster to control zaha for the unknown

I just think he can do what Kyle does and more.

Yes I do. He manages his squad as he sees fit with future games taken into consideration and on occasion his strongest team is not on the pitch. That’s just a fact and all managers do it. I’m not saying he does it all the time but for a game like today’s we need the strongest team available in my opinion.
I would bet the 11 today are his strongest and like every other match, someone will throw a wobbler because it doesn't contain who they would have. Anyway, only 1/2 hr to find out

Show me a fan who picks a team, and posts it, arguing they know better, and who regularly post during a game and I will show you an armchair in front of a tv.
Does it matter whether you are at home or at the game, does that mean one is allowed an opinion on the team and the other isn't? beneath you that post if i'm reading it right
