Not convinced Haarland is fully fit after the injury with norway, same with Kev and both weren't ready for the arsenal game.

no point risking them if not needed to be so same team only change Pep may do is Kovacic comes in for doku or grealish for a lottle more solidity in the midle and shoves berny or foden wide, but I hope he doesn't

No way Pep won’t play Rodri, Foden and Bernardo. Maybe Bernardo but not all 3.

Pep: "...in the next game we're going to play different players."

Imo, it's highly likely that Pep makes 5-6 changes, most of them in midfield and attack. The selection may cause a meltdown but it is likely to get the job done.

Guess all of Kovacic, Nunes, KDB, Bobb and Haaland will start the game, or at least 4 of them. Add Stones too.

Ortega
Lewis
Dias
Stones
Gvardiol
Kovacic
Nunes
KDB
Bobb
Haaland
Alvarez/Doku

Start with the same team.

Quick passing,movement, fluidity,pace & danger everywhere.

Subs on 65,70 & 75 minutes if we're comfortable.

Conditioning minutes JS KDB & EH.

Never an easy place to play and it'll likely be a fairly physical game.

If ever there was a case of a referee not "letting the game flow", this is it. I can understand Taylor trying that at the weekend (although he should have adopted a less lenient approach in-game) and England last night, it could backfire spectacularly if he tries it on Saturday. Tierney will need to get a grip on Palace's shit-housery at the very start or he could easily lose control.

I'd start with the team that played tonight to be honest and give the 'big names' a rest. We don't need to play Haaland, Stones, KdB against Palace.

Villa are not a bad side and I honestly thought we seemed to play with a bit more 'fluidity' today that we have done recently. Doku ripped them a new one, Foden was unplayable and the rest all had chances.

Palace are not as good as Villa but will absolutely pack the penalty area for 100 minutes. We just have to make sure we concentrate on the counter, but I fancy us to give them a bit of a hiding to be honest.
Pretty much matches my view entirely that pal.

Jack looked decent so did Doku
Bernardo didn't play to his usual high standards so that would be my only change come Saturday. CTID
Agreed on those two.
Phil is so hot at the moment though, I think we need him at his peak for Madrid, so I’d like us find a way for him not be involved at all, or at least only from the bench if needed.

Oddly enough, outside of Arsenal, Liverpool, and our good selves, Palace are the side with the fewest bookings this season and they've had fewer players sent off than us. I don't think they're a particularly dirty team, more a side that have got strong, physical players.

We will find out soon enough :)
