Health and safety did a risk assessment and decided with the high winds it was too dangerous to jib over the fences.

With Selhurst park surrounded by houses etc I just don’t see how this is deemed safe to go ahead
It’s a bit of wind in London mate, not the wizard of oz.
Houses don’t blow over.

Palace are one of those teams I hate playing. They sit deep and have a forward line who will cause us problems on the counter. Throw in the wind and I'm not looking forward to this as it has banana skin written all over it.
Hopefully we can get an early goal to settle the nerves and then build on the Forest result.
I think Everton could do us a favour today as well. Last derby at Goodison and the conditions aren't great. The crowd will be fired up for it and Dyche loves spoiling the party! I can see that being a draw...

Never like to see a City game called off but with no Ake, Stones, Kovacic and Foden, and a half-fit Akanji, I suppose it wouldn’t be the worst time for it to happen.
