They're always cautious with Horse Racing, if it's not 100% the meetings are off. The fact Sandown is on tells you it should be pretty much guaranteed our match goes ahead, the two venues are only 15 miles apart.

I'm glad that the City game is going ahead, but it's still absurdly hilarious that they're so precious about wind speed considering how many horses die per year even in good conditions.

We’ll have to ditch our high ball to Haaland game.
Guess we’ll have to keep the ball on the deck. Hope we can adapt to the weather conditions.

They aren't bothered how many horses die in whatever conditions, as long as the betting money keeps coming in.

Today's horse racing postponements will be with public safety in mind, both in terms of travel conditions and the risk of flying debris etc.

Is Manu Akanji fit enough to play? I bloody hope so.

I fully agree with you here, but I think this message of yours is so important because two-and-a-half years ago we almost all would've gone 'Akanji? The Dortmund reject who was too error-prone to be considered good enough to start for the second-best team in Germany? No, why would we ever want him at City?" Now he's edging toward the list of the top 5 centre-backs of the Mansour era. Whenever we get linked to a player who isn't particularly impressive at the moment I think of Akanji and how Pep can turn almost anyone into a world-class footballer.

This screams a 'Haaland gets 0 goals, but 1 assist and an all-round selfish performance' to me. If he gets any goal except a penalty I'll be pleasantly surprised; I think this'll be another tough one for him where he is expected to sacrififce his own numbers for the good of the team. And the good thing about Haaland is that I trust him to suck it up and do exactly that.

Horses blow over like dominoes. You probably can't move for toppled equines around there.

Shame about Blackpool. I'll go out on a limb and say that the Big One is probably not operating today.
Yes it is, I had a shag this morning :-)

It’s a very long time since we lost at Palace, hopefully that run will continue today. With all our injuries, I certainly wouldn’t be adverse to a draw.
