They're just sorting by resending the link to me now. Been chasing since Monday but the guy I got on Twitter was really apologetic. Feel like they are under a lot of strain unnecessarily at the minute due to noises from above them.
 
The Ake and Akanji injuries mean we’re back in the shit situation we looked like we’d just come out of. So annoying. The result really depends on how clinical we are because it’ll be difficult to avoid conceding.

The squad is tiny though. Going into a season where we are playing more champions league ganes, a club world.cup, and off a summer tournament where a lot of our players went deep into, and then deciding six defenders was enough was stupid. Especially when several are massively injury prone, we don't have a proper lb and our specialist rb is 34, and heavily dependent on pace.

Maybe it doesn't help everyone with the condition. But some people have benefitted from it.
John certainly needs to try something new as his career is teetering.

As I said though we are only 2 players off the maximum allowed, and we should probably have brought one more in.While it might be a little unbalanced, to say it’s tiny is just wrong. The fact some of them are injured has nothing to do with the size of the squad.

Ok I take your point. When I say tiny squad I am conflating several issues into one that I don't really have a name for. One is we are unbalanced with so few defenders.

Another is we have players in the squad who Pep refuses to play in normal circumstances, like McAtee, now even if he isn't as good as our other midfielders, I find it hard to believe that surrounded by our normal squad we would lose if he played more against Ipswich, Southampton, Bratislava, Prague etc. Him playing one minute every two weeks doesn't help reduce the burden on the first team of help him develop.

Thirdly we don't use to seems subs that much, when we can change half the outfield each game. We also don't seem to use the academy as much as other clubs. We also go too strong in the league cup, and is still affecting us now, despite Pep saying it was unimportant. Plus more games at club and national level means we need a bigger squad, even if just using the academy more.
