More likely Pep is sticking with a winning team and told them one more game and then he can rotate for Brentford.
 
We will have the rjeindes issue today as we do every time he plays.....no defensive cover from him....our midfield will at times appear exposed as his defensive work is shit to say the least (or has been upto now)

Not sure how we will line up but Im hoping its bernardo playing deeper as at least he tried to add defensiveness into the middle of the park...that means however one of Foden or cherki playing wide right and wide left as Reinjders cant play there either...

Doku being out has unbalanced the midfield - an area where we really dont want that to happen at present....

Reijnders needs to step up...no more of this getting caught in no mans land ...looking like he hasnt got a clue where to be and watchign the game by pass him....
On the positive he does add a goal threat

Palace have a better midfield than Fulham so he’s got to do even more than he should have done against Fulham.

His time is now, he’s 27 not 21, we need him to step up.

fully agreed - we cant have the normal excuses for him....he doesnt have that time ..he is an experienced player, not some kid

It’s a definite change from a couple of seasons ago

I get it to a degree as we can’t afford a slip in this race due to us not being at our best but he normally likes to spread the minutes around to keep the squad happy

Okay then. I'll stand by what I said. But let's go along with what you say. If I check his post history (which won't take long), I'll find plenty of posts congratulating Pep and the team on the Centurions season, the Fourmidables, the 4 PL titles in a row, the treble, even the 4 Carabao Cups in a row.
