Aguero might not be firing on all cylinders right now but he does have 3 goals in his last 4 apps and deserves to start over Jesus imo.

I don't think Pep will look at it as who deserves to start (both have done enough to earn the right to play imo), he'll want to rotate as much as possible until the crowded fixture list starts to ease up after the Liverpool game on the 14th.

I like Palace fans. There has to be a bit of rivalry with all sides but talk to most of their fans and they like City and like that we still have humour despite relative success. They have realised where the game is going now money wise.

As Mike N says its strange that the Ultras didnt remember our support before making their banner. Unless of course they have only just got into football?

Most Palace were ok back in the day , still remember the end of season party on the pitch in 1990, but these Ultras really piss me off.

Hello, fellow mancunians.

Kind of worried about this game.
Feel that Kevin and Sterling needs a rest and we miss Silva. We also still haven´t seen Bernardo´s best qualities.

Palace are a tricky team.
Loftus Cheek usually cuts inside and drives, Zaha plays behind full backs, Benteke is clumsy but still hard to play against, Townsend sometimes ends up making some good dribles and create some chances.
The pitch looks small too.
Hope Gabriel plays upfront. I prefer him because he links up better and goes for the press with will.

I think the rags are going to have problems against Everton next week, but i really don´t want to give them some points this weekend.

This city team to much for palace watched them against arsenal there awful at back. 5 nil aguero hat trick 2 for Leroy :) mind the gap :)

I am running out of adjectives to describe what's happening here. City on the verge of a 19th straight win??@?#?# WTF. It's utterly mad, mind boggling. I used to think that back-to-back wins were a rare beast, something to aspire to and celebrate when achieved. But 18 in a row atm? C'mon it's getting silly now, someone's going to pipe up and say it will be 36 straight wins at the end of the season.
Anyway back to the real world - we should be murdering Palace.
0-5 Jeff! It's long overdue.

Roy Hodgson: "Any team that tries to go toe to toe with City and actually attacks them runs the risk of conceding goals. They are doing it to everybody. But the players we have are best suited to playing the way we are trying to play, so I’m afraid we won’t have much option..."

Roy Hodgson: "... other than to try and do against them what we tried to do against Arsenal, which might make it an entertaining game for the neutral."

wouldn't surprise me to see something like this with the news that Kompany, Delph, and Stones are all on the verge of being back.

Palace: Ederson, Danilo, Otamendi, Mangala, Delph, Fernandinho, KDB, Bernardo, Sterling, Sane, Jesus
Watford: Ederson, Walker, Kompany, Stones, Zinchenko, Toure, Gundogan, D. Silva, KDB(?), Sterling(?), Aguero

can make almost wholesale changes, which I think, with such a lead in the Prem, Pep will do, to avoid long-term injury because of muscle fatigue from playing 2 games in 48 hours. Would love to see a full Brahim debut over the next week, too.

Paul Merson gone for 1-5 on sky prediction. Can' t see that or any where near that to be honest. Let's get the points and get out of there. Overpower them from the outset and do what needs to be done.

Don't get why some on here have worries about this game when all logical evidence suggests there is nothing to be overly concerned about.
Worries from our perspective:
Small pitch. Really? Its not that small! Fans jumping and clapping at a mere throw in. Same at many other grounds. Zaha. Er....one player. Yes not Messi! He's good, full of pace and tricks but not much end product. That's it.
Worries from THEIR perspective:
18 match winning run. Zero losses all season. Records broken every week at the moment. 15 points clear. 61 goals scored. 12 conceded. Possession stats which are obscene. Utterly dominated games away at so called other elite sides Chelsea and Rats. 10 away wins on the trot. A way of playing which not only sucks the physical strength out of the opposition but destroys them mentally. Confidence at absurdly high levels. And some chaps called....Silva, Sane, Sterling, Aguero, De Bruyne, Bernardo, Jesus, Gundogan et al.

If some on here are nervous, Palace fans must be suicidal. Perspective.
Of course in any one game weird things can happen (eg. Rats managed to pull off a creditable draw at home to the mighty Burnley) but I just don't expect it anymore with us....we are that good. 0-4 will be about right. (Disclaimer: if we lose, had to happen sooner or later )

Most of them were new and would not have cared about our past. Just something for them to sing about. As I say, the majority of their fans are okay though. All clubs have some clueless idiots supporting them. Not many clubs you can go to these days and have a decent chat with opposition fans. And I have found Palace still pretty decent on that front. Clearly not spoken to any of their ultras.
