We didn take our chances in the first half, Palace two shots, two goals, Townsend's a worldly which he would never get on target again if he tried 100 times

Walker daft penalty from where I was sat, needs a rest Danilo now back

After that we could still be playing now and wouldn't have scored, KDB great goal but it wasn't a shot

If Ferna isn't fit then play Gundogan in the holding role not Stones good footballer but his brain isn't quick enough to step things up

Put it down to a bad day in the office and move on

Can't complain too much. Walker clearly needs a rest and Danillo isn't ready for a full 90.

Pep got it wrong for me today, should have played Delph where Stones was and Laporte where Delph was, I thought the Leicester match proved Stones shouldn't play there.

We rested too many players at the same time, that's why we lost, if KdB and Kun start I think we win that match. Amazing start for us so far but we can't win them all, neither can Liverpool. Will be right, hopefully we can get back to our level soon.

My only comment is that we won the corner count 13-0 so why on earth don't we score more often? We need to practice corners until we are blue in the face.

Dont understand why we all cheer when we get a corner, we know it's gonna come to fuck all. I feel for any team who is worse than us at taking them..

Same here!

It would be the most exciting way to win it... BUT it does mean that the pressure is well and truly on us when we meet at ours as a couple of weeks. Any more defensive brain farts in that game could spell curtains on our season domestically speaking. And really we can’t afford to be measured like at theirs.. we need the win.

Maybe it’s a good Oman that we are getting them out of our system now and this side of Christmas. Perhaps we’ll recapture our definsive solidarity from a few months back and our creative players and goal scorers work their way to fitness and back into their grove whilst Salah has another loss of form and Van Dyke has a short spell on the sidelines as Lovren returns to type, any or all of which could happpen.

Long way to go. Long way.. just hope we get our rub of the green when it counts and make it count like we did in 2012.

We’re nowhere near where we were last season. Debruyne been missed more than we expected.

David Silva has been missed even more.

We are not going to win the title.
The main reason is that we spent £60M on a surplus winger instead of extra CM/DM.
Hopefully the happy clappers "we won by 19 pts last year wr are gonna walk it in this year lolz, we are uncatchable! #Pep" are now satisfied.

Stones not a DM. Not now. Not ever. Pep too slow to bring stars back after injury. Has been doing it for a long time and it is slightly arrogant. kev should have started with Augero up front.
A fit Salah would not be left to stew on the bench.

Well Pep gambled trying to preserve the team's resources for the games ahead and now we're under pressure.

Really the Gundogan, Stones midfield did not work whilst Palace have the quickest full backs in the country and were always going to bottle up Sterling and Sane. Palace were vulnerable through the middle but didn't have the midfield creativity to do it until de Bruyne came on who was brilliant. Unfortunately too late.

Combination of bad luck, good game from Palace and gamble over selection back-firing. City are under pressure now. Another loss would be fatal

David Silva has been missed even more.

Yes. David is a master at running games and getting in between the lines. Bernardo has similar attributes but is nowhere near as effective as David is.
