Nah, fuck that. Great goal but once was more than enough.Worth a watch to see that palace second goal again ...

The effect was multiplied more by playing Stones in the Fernandinho role imo. Should’ve at least played a midfielder there. Stones is a great CB but he’s no DM.
A football fan would say that.Worth a watch to see that palace second goal again ...
Serge takes about 3-4 games after injury to get back in the groove. We couldn't get the ball into Jesus today, or Aguero.Yes.
I got slated in a previous post match thread for saying our profligacy in front of goal will cost us, as it did today and in the first half against Chelsea AND it will continue to do so in both Prem and Champions league?
Jesus after appearing to hit form dissapointed again today, Leroy blows hot and cold and Sterling is not clinical enough. Serge is off his best this season.
Not true.Delph should of been in there and Zin at left back.... the stones/Laporte partnership has looked solid all year, if they’re fit, it should pick itself imo..
Pep is only human, he won’t get everything right and hindsight is a wonderful thing, he’d of thought that starting line up was enough and we all would of agreed pre flop, it just didn’t get going today but he will get it right 99% of the time!
Yeah, I was probably a bit harsh on Leroy.Serge takes about 3-4 games after injury to get back in the groove. We couldn't get the ball into Jesus today, or Aguero.
Sane is brilliant. Even today he was good and was so close to scoring a magnificent free-kick. It wasn't our day, but we contributed to that.
The lack of De Bruyne has changed everything. No De Bruyne has meant our midfield dynamic has changed; Fernandinho has become the player to provide deep creativity (btw credit to him for that, never thought I'd have typed that out a year ago) and the two CMs, especially without David Silva, serve as support in terms of creating wide overloads ahead of being support in terms of creating chances (that's for Fernandinho as I said). This means that our fullbacks need to sit deeper otherwise we overcommit. They've also been playing on the inside more too consequently, I think Pep pointed out at one point he was impressed with Walker for how well he was adapting this year to the change.Walker has never been the best defender but his role was to get down the wing and beat the full back and get the cross in. This season he seems to being played more defensively. He rarely gets to bomb forward and beat the defender and get the cross in. This seems to have been a tactical tweak which has so far backfired this season. Give Kyle the freedom to attack like last season and you will see a different player. Why the change?
Hit by a a two outer on the Turn though, ZinDelph should of been in there and Zin at left back.... the stones/Laporte partnership has looked solid all year, if they’re fit, it should pick itself imo..

I doubt too many would have noticed, but Mendy was attacking far less in the games prior to his injury than the ones at the start of the season too.
Not true.
Nothing to do with hindsight.
That team selection was regarded as poor by most punters before the game and on this forum.
Especially regarding Walker selection and Stones in midfield.
Did that selection jump out that we wouldn’t win?
Hit by a a two outer on the Turn though, Zin

It was so he could help cover benny but why it has carried on recently i don't knowWalker has never been the best defender but his role was to get down the wing and beat the full back and get the cross in. You’re more astute than I then barney
Play that game 10 times over and we comfortably win
