Liverpool drawing may have saved us from suffering too much for that awful performance. We're only two points behind them still with 28 games to go.

Chelsea will go through a rough patch, you can't win a title when your wing-backs and penalties are your only sources of goals. I'm not so worried about us catching them.

But that was horrendous, Laporte basically threw away the points after a few minutes and earned a spell on the bench. If we insist on not buying a striker, it's very strange not to play Gundogan.

Not to mention signing grealish for 100 mil which has meant foden has had to move from his best position is another bad move imo. Grealish just isn’t world class and never will be imo his stats over the years support this. A luxury player we just didn’t need.

Laporte is a clown but the warning signs were there from the Southampton and Burnley games. We will struggle against the lesser teams at home because we don’t have the firepower anymore.

Torres injury has hurt us and we simply have no one who can play the 9 at a top level.

When we struggle to score, we really struggle to score. I think it's masked by the fact that in lots of games if we score first, the floodgates open. If it's a tight game and the opponents defend well, we really struggle to get anything.

Having said that, that first half gave us an impossible task. Can't fault the effort in the second half, but the quality just wasn't there and we looked knackered on 80 minutes.

John Stones showed that he's the first choice when he came on. He shouldn't miss any big games that he's fit from now on.

truly one of the worst performances ive seen from any city side. You could have written the script after it went 1-0, there was no way in hell we were coming back from that. Dismal.
