Pep once again fucked up with his team selection. Picking his pet players. The players who have performed well lately were rewarded with a place on the bench. It's been one shit show after another. People keep going on about individual defenders. Stones, Otamendi, etc but Pep's teams at Bayern had decent defenders who fucked up repeatedly in big games.

The reality is even Baresi, Maldini and Costacurta would be exposed in our team.

Did you actually watch the game my friend ? Gundogan ran the midfield and had an excellent game - to say he slowed the tempo is not the case today there were many others doing that

I thought we played well enough to win that game 99 times out of 100 and would do.

Nothing to do with VAR and everything to do with Stones and Cancello masquerading as footballers. The only threat they’ve got and our full back decides to bomb on and get caught out of position with Zaha behind him and then the incredible backward running John Stones manages to not only let him get in the box but get a cross in as well.
People can say what they like about Otamendi but Zaha is on his arse 35 yards from goal if he’s playing!

Thought mendy is starting to look much better but he’s become virtually our sole outlet out wide and he must have 30 crossing opportunities a game which is very worrying.

not sure what he has to do start more games but that was crying out for Foden and someone who could go past a player and make something happen. Oh well, onto the next game.

Why change a winning formula from last week? Gundogan & Silva does not work as a 2. Bernardo is much more effective through the middle. Mahrez our 2nd best player last week gets benched.

Our vulnerability in defence is extraordinary for a supposed top level club. I’d fancy literally any team to score against us. Palace are the lowest scorers in the league: even they banged in 2 and were unlucky not to get a pen. It’s absolutely abysmal

PEP We tried to do everything. The spirit was there. We tried and tried. We came back and we dropped points. But it’s football.

PEP We played similar to the way we did at Villa with @benmendy23 attacking down the left and players in the middle. We struggled a little for the first 10 mins of the second half but then I think we did everything. Palace didn't do much but they got a point.

How the fuck is that clear and obvious? The refereeing in this country is shocking at best and corrupt at worst.

Hate to say this but Stones isn’t good enough. I don’t know what happened to him but he’s got a mistake or two in him every single game. Don’t think he’s at it psychologically, you could tell from his reaction after their equaliser.

They had two fucking chances all game and scored both. Inexcusable letting them have the second one after we’d fought so hard to turn the game around. Felt like a kick in the teeth.

VAR goes against us again, not his fault. Players scores and own goal, not his fault.

We battered them and we win that easily 99 times out of 100.

Nope he sent out the team with the pedestrian gundogan, the totally inept John stones and someone that's masquerading as raheeem sterling. We have lost 5 times already this season, we haven't managed more than 3 wins in a row yes that's 3 in a row. Lost to absolute muck on several occasions. You can have all the possession you want, not much good if you don't make it count. If we continue like this we could end up losing 8 league games this season. How would you feel about that.? The annoying part is it was all so unnecessary.
