i just hope silva is back for this one as we miss him and no-one else in midfield is stepping up at present

Wouldn't have Clichy in the starting XI. Kolarov at LB please next to Ota, Kompany and Sagna/Zaba. Hopefully Silva will be back. De Bruyne can go to the bench for me. Start Sterling and Sane and Yaya. Start with Kun and bring Jesus on after 60-65.
Kolarov won't be able to contribute much going forward if he's marking Zaha as he's going to have to stay 10 yards goalside of him to address the difference in pace. Clichy is unfortunately the better bet, just at full back with a winger ahead of him this time.

More parked bus bullshit no doubt. We will have minimum 65% possession but could be any result. If we get an early goal we could pan them, if not anything could happen. I'm going for 1-1.

I'm bringing the Mrs up to this. She's never seen us lose.

So a totally dominant 0-0 it is then :-)

Bringing my 6 year old boy to his 1st ever game on sat so please let it be a goal fest and Jesus score so he will be happy. Weather looks good for the weekened so hoping a nice sunny warm day will cheer everyone up as at this rate its going to be very gloomy.

Same team that played in the derby, why the fuck we messed about with it for boro I cannot understand unless injuries/suspensions.

We have a four match season with 4 games over 15 days. Full strength team for every match.

Hopefully we'll have Silva and Yaya back for the last 4 and we'll be in a position to both control possession and find space.

Return of Kompany and Jesus is a boost. But if Silva is out that would be a big miss. I thought I read something last week saying that he was 50-50 for Boro so hopefully he's close. Training sessions this week will give us a clue. I can't remember if I have seen Jesus play 90 mins at home in the league. I know I've seen him score, but I think that was a sub. I think he needs more game time to be at his best, but I thought he was good at Boro so we should be able to step up a bit from that with another weeks training and the benefit of 90 mins. We need KDB, Sterling etc to weigh in with a few goals.

No reason now to tinker with the team. We'll be rested. I'd prefer Delph over Yaya if KDB and Silva are available. Delph can score goals, also better defensively than Yaya

It may come down to goal diff so let's hope we can start putting chances away, think we may need nine out of twelve points to get fourth. Sams Palace team have improved, but if we can't beat them we don't deserve top four ;-)

Get all the available big guns in - now is not the time to experiment with three at the back or any other formation. Play the one that works the best and that gets our best team on the pitch for as long as possible. Win this week and next and we will have almost guaranteed top 4 as Arse play the rags then Southampton and Stoke away and the rags are at Arse and away at Spurs. We win both and we will be on 72 with two to go. I dont see Arse winning all three or the rags (they play each other so something has to give).
