Snide as it is I would like Pep to start asking whether Silva get's enough protection in the pre-match press conference. No doubt Palace will be instructed to kick lumps out of him. Would be nice if we put the referee under some pressure beforehand.

Without scrolling through all these pages has anyone any idea who we have for the ref on Saturday for the match against Crystal Palace.

Pep has been tinkering all over the pitch due to injuries, players needing a rest, twat agents, suspension, experiments, and tactical reasons.
Either way he might just wanna look at the teams he put out when we did play well at home and stick to that formation as much as possible. If he can't figure that one out he might consider to consult his 12 men management team around him.

I know I sound a bit cynical but I am a huge Pep fan. Rhis season will learn him more than anything else in his career, but now he seems to lack confidence explaining most of the tinkering.

I expect a win and tbh I expect 12 points out of remaining 4. The way we do it? I don't care. But it'll lay some sort of foundation for next season and hopefully than we can see a bit more of the beautiful football Pep makes his teams play.

It is bonus with Silva returning but the task is still a very tricky one without Aguero (even with Gabriel Jesus returning).

Reading the posts it's pretty obvious that Pep's honeymoon with the fans is well and truly over, if this is representative I suspect anything less than a convincing win against Palace will be met with some disquiet.
Again, if this is representative, I wonder if this has filtered back to Pep and his team? Unless I am reading to much into the negative posts, I suspect it could get ugly if things don't go well.
The winners will be the anti City/Pep brigade who have wished nothing but failure on this man since word go. The rag press/pundits will be pissing themselves if our fans turn against Pep.
I suppose it's easier for me to say have faith because I am not in a position to go to games anymore. But I have been around long enough to read the signs, so I urge all blues to get behind the team and manager and prove these rag zealots wrong. Come on City beat the Crystal cloggers and get us on the front foot for top four :-)

Allardyce confirmed defendders Dann, Tomkins and Sakho. Also Cabaye. Townsend is a doubt. City press conference due at 1.30pm

Can someone kindly post injury updates on here following the press conference? At work so can't watch/listen in

Thanks

Aguero is out. Hopefully he’ll be back for Leicester, but this game no.

PEP: Stones and Bravo are out. Claudio until next season and John maybe in the next games (he will return).

Oh s**t !!!!

“Well this is not very good at all. Aguero, Stones, Silva and Bravo will all be missing for the Palace match. Guardiola didn’t go into great detail on any of them but reiterated that Bravo is definitely out for the season. At least Sane is fit!”

PEP: (On Silva fitness) Yesterday was the first training session. He is still not perfect.

PEP: It is still in our hands. If we win all four games, we will definitely be in the CL, maybe in the third positions.

PEP: Gabriel was important for the last two weeks. I would have liked to play him and Sergio together more because of our lack of goals.
