It's about this time last year wheels started to come off with stupid draws at home eg Boro. Liverpool was great but they were always going to try and play. These will play the game that frustrated us so much last season so we're going to learn a lot about where we are.

I would start Mangala and Stones.

Their only chance of scoring will be long balls to Benteke or the odd counter. Mangala has shut down Big Nose and D. Costa before, he can pocket Benteke as well. Play him against Palace and then again vs Stoke.

Hopefully we get to see another goal fest today. David Silva, Kun & De bruyne will be fresh and ready. Hoping to see Sane and Sterling get on the score sheet as well.

Think that's the strongest XI we could put out at the moment but Otamendi and Sterling could replace Kompany and Jesus in that team. Either way it won't be too shabby.

I get excited just to see our line up this season. Nobody has a clue what it will be, if someone gets dropped, a player comes in with just as much quality.
