If you were going to rest any key players before a big European night, this would be the game. Our bench has been getting some time and it would be a good time to (try to) rest both David Silva and KDB, with Jesus and Sergio getting half a game each. I might also give Mangala another game to snuff out Benteke. Also, play Danilo to give the other FB a break, too.

Thought he was decent first half, second half I thought he struggled a bit with the tempo especially after the gundogan injury when a lot of players heads went.

You can see his class though, will just need a few weeks/months to bed in.

I dont think they've been quite as bad as their results suggest, i've seen them play twice (for some reason im still trying to fathom) and they are creating decent chances that they should be putting away, which is the main reason i think the de Boer sacking was premature.

anyway, we should come away comfy winners but I can see them nicking one. 4-1.
