Since the win at Ipswich (9 games ago) only Grealish Marmoush and McAtee have actually scored in the PL

I've got absolutely no faith in this team now. The end of the season can not come quick enough. Will Pep play the same old same old? Probably! No pace or guile and players showing absolutely no hunger. Could be a long afternoon:(

Champions League qualification is a must if we want to rebuild efficiently and quickly. Must win, and the same goes for all remaining games.

Pep needs to play Nico and give the midfield some energy and bite. He approved 60m for him; start using him.

Nico, Echeverri has to start.if Echeverri completely shits himself we can throw in KDB or Foden at 60th min. had he signed for something like Roma, Lazio, Villarreal who are in similar fight for 4th place in their league he would start games.

Palace will want the win more than we do. They're a young, fast side and will run all over our midfield.

Our players seem to have written this season off, most already know that they're probably on their way in the summer, so CL qualification isn't an issue for them.

Recent performances suggest that they're not even playing for pride.

Marc Guehi will be a huge loss for Palace, He's their main man at the back and hopefully we can capitalise on it.

The concern for this game is our ability to break down teams in a back 5. Palace will play precisely like United yesterday, but they have better players in the counterattack.

He doesn't seem to enter into the managers thanking at all. I assume he wasn't sent out on loan in January because of the fear of injuries leaving us short of a match day squad. With respect to the game I am approaching this with fear and trepidation. I know we will hear the usual shouts of Palace not being prime Brazil or Barcelona but they look like a dangerous side, in form and with the tools to damage us. This may well be the game that defines our season with a defeat or win been the difference between 8th or 5th.

Pep needs to do himself a favour now and stick with the guys that have been playing well recently, the older guys can come on when needed. Not sure what's happened to Khusanov, and although i don't think that Nunes has been completely shit of late, i think we just need an actual defender there right now:

Nico - Gundo

Grealish

Savinho - Marmoush - Doku

I think he might go something similar to that but Nunes will probably start, and possibly KDB (although doesn't warrant it right now on form).

Really not the fixture we need, on good form and have physical and fast players on the counter. We need to strip out the midfield walking football brigade and take a chance on some younger players.
