I feel we need around 16pts from our final 7 games to make the CL places based on pts per game so far. Not easy to see how we get there with Pep's constant chopping and changing and our quite sterile attack.

We can't lose to Villa and I would expect we play to make sure we don't. He will want to win the other home games, but it's looking tougher than I thought it would be. Maybe that game at the swamp was an incentive to kick on, but I doubt it based on the season so far.

Palace -3
Everton -1
Villa - 1
Wolves - 3
Southampton - 3
Bournemouth - 3
Fulham - 1

That's quite optimistic with our performances, and it's still possibly not enough.
Our fixtures give me hope, our performances do not. We will be without Stones, Rodri, and Haaland for an extended period, and today we will miss Foden. That makes the Palace game and the remaining games challenging. City have been defending better recently and I put that down to the form of Dias but without Haaland, I struggle to see us scoring many goals. The return of Bobb is encouraging, but given the length of his absence, we should not expect too much from his initial appearances.

Not sure the next two matches are anything but extremely hard.

Palace are the form team of the PL at this moment and have players that could destroy us on the break and also have a good record against us.

Everton under Moyes are a very difficult opponent, if we were to come out with 6 points in these games it would be a superb effort, sadly I could see us losing both if we play like we did against the rags.

Well, because Khusanov is a proper defender! Nunez is always an accident waiting to happen in that position. call me old fashioned....
Well say what you want about Nunes but he was probably our best player last Sunday tbf and i’ve not been a fan of him.

I would say all the remaining games are winnable but we cannot use some players at the same time, e.g. Doku and Savinho cannot play together as they are not reliable attacking force and don’t track back. Foden and Grealish cannot play together was they both are unpredictable and not good possessor/dribbler/bullied when dribbling. KDB, Gundo and Bernie cannot play together as they rely on others to run their ass off to chase the very off ball they pass and they cannot chase any player. Lewis cannot play without Rodri as he can make dangerous situations out of nothing. Gvadol cannot play full back as he leave too much space for players.

Pick another sport.

When you pick a team it has to be complementary but I am not sure I agree with all your comments about the players. Grealish I think is very rarely bullied when dribbling. He might not beat his man as easily as Savinho or Doku but very rarely does he lose possession. Most often he just turns back.

Savinho got to play with marmoush they was linking up good Vs Leicester would also keep the Dias and gvardiol CB partnership going want to see O'Reilly in CM with Nico not a clue for fullbacks maybe try Samuel from eds for RB

It's now or never. If we want CL next season we need today to be the start of a winning streak until season's end.

Please Pep, no silly team selections; our best available eleven and suffocate them from minute one.

And yet again boring Manchester City are in a tight race making for some excitement at the end of the season. What would the premier league do without us.

More by poor quality finishing vs United I think. Our defence didn't look good.
I agree. We need Khusanov at the back. With Dias and Gvardiol it should give us a solid defensive foundation. Nico G ahead of them as well, please.
