Tbf, Stones doesn't get the chance to show any form because he doesn't play.

Again, same as Laporte 18 months ago. So, what are you suggesting; drop Laporte for Stones? Stones will get plenty of games, particularly when Ruben and/or Eric gets injured.

It's probably Cancelo keeping Stones out the team as much as anything by proxy due to him keeping Zinchenko out of the side.

Zinchenko has been injured until Wednesday.

That's why Stones isn't playing, we have to have a left footed player in the back line.

No Zinchenko = Laporte has to play.

Now Zinny is back it's just a matter of time before Zinchenko-Dias-Stones-Walker - our best back 4 - is back on the pitch.

You people are ridiculous, what type of message would Pep send to the team if he kept Laporte on the bench after a great start of the season just because Stones is back from injury ?
The message would be that no matter how well you play some players are ahead of you !! Many players would want to leave then..
Stones will get his chance, just like he did in the past.

Only surprise in that team selection is KDB starting , he doesnt look 100% fit and has played every game recently , where as Gundo has missed a lot of games , and needs some games to get back to his best , apart from that an unusually predictable team from Pep.
Cant see there being any hangover from Wednesday night , it was another game we could of , should of , would of won and lost on the lottery of penalties , can see Foden wanting to prove a point after his miss from the spot ultimately cost us the cup tie, not seen much of Palace under Vierra but i dont see them being any different from other sides in the bottom half of the table , an early goal would be nice just to see if Palace and Vierra have a Plan B.

There's been a grand total of 1 poster to complain about Stones not starting and a multitude who've defended the decision. Maybe don't accuse people of things they didn't do?

everyone shitting on KDB look at that lineup, KDB always gets into our best 11 even in his worst form. pep also seems to think that.

Not sure its his form but his fitness levels dont appear to be at his usual high levels , i think he would benefit from a rest but Pep has all the fitness stats , Gundo is the ideal replacement and has a habit of nicking goals when opposing teams park the bus.

I saw "itsrising" , "ws01" and "shaffer92" maybe my math s off but thats more than 1 poster.So I was correct to use the term "you people" as refering to them.

Don't like Stones being fucked around like this again. It doesn't bring the best out of him and he doesn't deserve it, after the season he had

We are fortunate to have three excellent centre backs and our tactics/formation means one of them misses out , Dias and Laporte have been superb , Stones will get his chance when you consider we played over sixty competitive games last season and we will play nearly as many this season.
