My point exactly. A spreadsheet would give Sterling an assist for Palmer's goal in Bruges, but it's Grealish's pass to Sterling that creates the space.

Sterling will probably play again and maybe find his touch but I won’t hold my breath. He’s like a shit Navas at the minute, panics and runs into defenders. He’s been a fantastic servant for us, maybe his heart isn’t in it any longer and just wants to move, but in this form, who would want him? He will play out his contract and move, who can blame him? I hope he gets his mojo back because it looks like he’s given up.

Sterlings best form for City was when we played a front three of Sane LW, Aguero CF, Sterling RW. I'd like to see him have another shot on the right-hand side where he might find shooting slightly more natural? I think he's been figured out playing the left, he tries to come inside every time, he doesn't stretch the defenders wide enough. Even his best England performances were when he's played down the middle.

I really feel like he just needs a couple of goals to get back to his best, but I have to admit (even as an avid Sterling supporter) that he just isn't doing it in a blue shirt right now.

I think it will be the same team as Brighton.

Could Gundogan get a rest as he is just coming back from injury? If so it may be worth playing Foden in midfield and giving Kevin a chance false 9.

He is currently not good enough for our midfield but was the best option as false 9 last season so may be worth another try.

He’s a liability and shouldn’t be in the squad. The form you talk about was 4 seasons ago. He can’t control a ball, can’t shoot and can’t make intelligent decisions when on the ball.
