It felt gutless and nearly as bad as that Wigan day, Foden needs to not play another minute. As does KDB, the sympathy minutes he has received could prove costly to us. Haaland would be great for a side like Palace or Wolves..good at sitting deep and have players who can ping one over the top...he is prerty limited elsewhere on the pitch

I think we used to play teams whose defenders were un athletic so brute force got you loads of tap.ins..defenders are stronger now so you need more guile. Haaland was one of best 1 v 1 strikers in tge world for Norway and Dortmund.. we aint that sort of team.. i haven't checked but i assume wedidnt score more as a team even when haaland was bashing in hatricks v West Ham and Watford and the likeHe either does fuck all and scores or he does fuck all

I hear you, I just don't have the faith. Him starting next season means he has the summer window, our last two summer windows have been garbage, plus we've wasted a load of cash in January on players he doesn't deem good enough. Him leading that window scares me and sometimes with managers their lifespan just comes to an end. He reinvented himself and his teams a few times, he hasn't shown any evidence this season that he can do that again. We won't get anybody in who will deliver that success again, not a chance. He is the best manager we will ever have. All good things come to an end though, it looks like he probably will be here next season though and I really hope you're right if he stays.

For me it’s a combination of:
1) the service he’s receiving is rubbish - our wingers’ end product can most politely be described as “inconsistent”. Crosses, when they come in, are all over the show and rarely get near his head.
2) Teams have worked out how to defend against him and pack the box with massive defenders.
3) As a result of 1) and 2) his confidence has gone - and confidence is one of the most valuable attributes for any striker.
What the solution is, I don’t know, but it’s not Doku and Savinho. Doku works best as an impact sub when the opposition is knackered and Savinho looks like he’d work better in the reserves.

We are far too easy to play against, have been all season and the signs were there last season. It's also dull as fuck to watch, ponderous lateral passing....FUCKING BORING!! Go for teams FFS, pace and energy instead 30 passes and end up nowhere.
