Bernardo as pretty much the only protection for the defence is quite a risk. He's going to be knackered after 20 mins!

Gonzalez is supposed to be the Rodri cover yet can’t get a game when Rodri misses the entire season. And he still can’t start when the player generally preferred to him (Kovacic) is also unavailable. Struggling to see a future for him here considering we I’ll have Rodri fit again next season and might bring in Reijnders. Pep simply doesn’t rate this guy. Another complete waste of money/panic buy.

Personally not arsed about not playing with a DM at the moment, without Rodri it's the weakest spot in the squad and I personally don't think any of them are good enough at the moment. I'll give Gonzalez time next year to show it.

Hopefully we just dominate the ball and Bernardo and KDB tuck in to make the lack of a DM less noticeable.
