Crystal Palace PL (H) Post match thread

Playing with a lazy attitude, hanging on to just a one or two-goal margin, and hoping the opposition will give up and never fight back always comes back to bite us in the end, as always.

Its a little too familiar for us to dominate to only have moments where players throw it all away.

Happening over and over again now.

Not sure what the solution, maybe Pep needs to scold them again.

That loss is on Foden and the defense being a shambles in many moments or areas of transition.

Gvardiol cant play LB.

Dias and Walker are being exploited over and over again, they both need to figure it out.

How we draw after leading 2 nill in our home ground in this game?
In the first goal Ederson was out of position, and both Diaz and Ake could not control and defend that simple attack/cross.
The second come from Foden loosing the ball in a counter attack, then caused the penalty 8n the last second of that extra time.
The result Iis shoking by all means.

It was actually a great performance bar the brain fart at the last. Think we played really well, but an extremely frustrating watch at the end.
It was controlled for 70 minutes then it was clear we needed changes. Peps the man and must have his reasons but fucked if i can think Of one.

So predictable to every other game.
Dominate the 1st half but miss nearly all your chances, we seriously must be the worst team in the league for chance conversion then teams realise we are not much of a threat up front and start having a go and our defence is so brittle, added to a keeper who has the odd good game but generally every shot on target is a goal and presto we throw away a game that should have been over at half time.

A serious lack of quality in the squad, no natural finishers bar Haaland and our defence has turned to a joke.
What the hell do we do in training as its clear defending and finishing are not practice.

No chance of the title with this squad, we just do not score enough when on top and cannot keep a clean sheet these days. Awful summer transfer window and lack of squad depth means its a top 4 CL qualification battle this season, we will end up at least 10 points behind the winners

Given events in Bournemouth, bit of perspective needed here. It really isn’t the end of the world, whether it’s Pep’s fault or not.

Oh, and we are current treble holders. Again, not the end of the world today.
