Feyenoord had invited lots of them to the game, they're patients at a local hospital. That was the response from the Excelsior fans who rather obviously had worked out where they were going to be.

One of my colleagues is a Feyenoord season ticket holder, so I asked him about how this is done. He said something similar is done every year, but they don't usually shower the children with them. The toys are all organised by the club as they obviously have to be checked to make sure they are safe, both generally, and to throw.

It's a nice thing.
