cup final day - london based blues

sorry Bronco but we no longer have a base, without the help of the likes of Prestwich_Blue, Biggsy1 and Foxy it's died a death. No fucker is willing to trawl pubs and try things out anymore-everyone expects something on a handplate (yes I'm angry and pissed off) Bit of fucking help and things could be very different.

Rubbish. Tina from the London Branch and I both offered to help last summer and you never got back to us. I also suggested the Jetlag Bar on Great Portland Street with their huge screen downstairs and you said you'd get back to me. You didn't. Furthermore, Tim decided on the CAD Sports Bar in Paddington for the Derby and you didn't support that either.

Let's face facts here. You got The Blue Anchor wrong and refused to acknowledge that family were using you and your numbers for income. Thankfully you ended up realising and now they've stopped showing football.

Yes you "offered" help but that's as far as it went, I said it would mean getting out and about.

is this not supporting your Jetlag idea ?

Spoken to owner of http://www.jetlagbar.com/ £25 min spend ( food 3 pints/ 5pints) need to know ASAP numbers interested-no up front/charge on the door but if I say 30 then £750 BUT that is reserving tables/seating. Turn up and and it's free for all-literally

As for Derby night , I couldn't make it but DID still email it out.

Bollocks to this.

Right. This is the plan.

Tomorrow night (Thursday 25 May) we will meet in the City Pride at 6.30 and we will spend the next 2-3 hours having beers in the local Farringdon/Clerkenwell pubs and seeing if any will fit the bill. If it doesn't work, next week we will do the same thing somewhere around Euston/kings cross - or wherever. I say meet at the Pride because we all know where it is.

I will get the first pint.

Tony, are you in? Peoff, are you in? Chris (Boy blue) are you in? Who else?

Otherwise this will slide and slide.

FFS... I offered last Summer and so did Tina from the London Branch. Our plan was to try during the European Championships and you didn't get back to either of us. I then offered again for the Derby and, surprise surprise, you didn't get back to me. All I was waiting for was a call or text to say when and where. We used the Jetlag Bar for Barrow vs Hereford United and good organising from the London Bulls saw a good 80 or so in. Great, great night.

We all know full well you've given up as you sent a "goodbye" e-mail around after The Blue Anchor scrapped TV - but you're looking to blame everyone else for the apparent failings. Thankfully CAD Bar in Paddington for The Derby was well supported (Tim, Brendan, me, Roaming Blue, Doug's Son Mike) for something with such short notice. It's cheaper than either place you found and was a lot more down to earth. No wanky Finance Workers swaggering around in suits.

We're working class people from the North West. These fancy Bistros you insisted on just weren't doing the job.

Not me unfortunately. I'm up in Manchester from tomorrow night.

The season isn't far from ending so I'd actually suggest buying more time by looking forwards to next season in advance. Tina from the London Branch is very proactive with including everyone she can so I bet she'd be up for it too.
