Actually ignore the thread title I was actually embarrassed that more noise was made when Wigan scored than when we scored. So called city fans around me spending the whole game listening to the Wigan match and not even watching our game.

Sorry for sounding like a bitter old man but it frustrates me no end that we have fans who appear more interested in the rags than there own club. If its not idiots crying some of our so called supporters don't half embarrass us.

Sorry for the rant but our home atmosphere doesn't do justice for our home record.
How come the atmosphere only picks up when we are winning comfortably? Why are most of our songs about the rags?

It is no longer in our hands, we are relying on them to drop points for our result to be of any significance so of course we are all very very interested in their results. I don't really see what your point is. It's not like in the past where people have been obsessed with their results even when we are not in direct competition with them, totally different situation imo.

I dont see what your point is neither, fuck sake we were cruising and never in doubt of losing the game, moan for moanings sake, but as LF as just said,we need them to drop points, and nobody thought it would happen last nite, hence the excitement in the crowd

Maybe we do but I think to knock City fans for being obsessed with the rags losing at the moment is ludicrous considering the situation in the league. I reckon if we were up against Chelsea for the title and they had gone one down at Wigan to bring us slightly back in to contention last night there would have been more or less the same response.

Exactly, the atmosphere like most home games was awful until Wigan scored and my issue is when the team needs us to get behind them we are often lacking.
