Current City Legends

Tbh i only think Hart and Vinny will become club legends, i think Richards can or at least try and be a one club player, i don't know who our last player was to only play for us?

Joe and Vinnie, when they talk about the club you can see their heart shine and a genuine smile of their face,
Zaba has embraced the club and the City, and keeps on improving, I think it was only last summer there was a majority vote for him to stay, previous 2 summers he was on many fans list to be moved on.

As football fans were a fickle bunch, Aguero will creep in because of that goal, and any player who puts 3 past the Reds will become an instant legend, even if that player was Crocky, Edin or Carlos.

Tevez could of been a club legend but he never will be after last season, the word legend gets thrown about to much in football. Actual legends are players like Del Pierro, Xavi, Gerrard, Raul, (grits teeth) Giggs and Scholes.

Inspired by the SWP Legend thread. Who in the current squad do you think can be considered to be a legend.

Personally I think Vinnie and Yaya have already made the jump into that status. I think that goal has got to make Aguero one or close to becoming one anyway.
Nobody currently playing for us is a legend of the club. You get that accolade when you leave/retire or more precisely die.

I think balotelli if we can keep his head straight could become an icon, much like cantona at utd. I think yaya, kompany are definatley legends and borderline aguero if he stays a little while longer. I think joe hart will one day be aswell, can see him being our/englands number one for years to come.

Ya Ya without a doubt is already a legend, a legend doesn't have be around for hundreds of games, a legend can be born in an instant. Ya Ya has scored so many vital goals and his demeanour on and off the pitch will be remembered for years to come...... as is Uwe, also a legend!
