Cyprus pubs

I fly out this afternoon and will miss the charity shield and the Newcastle game so was wondering if anybody knows a decent place to watch them?

Preferably the turkish side of the island but all suggestions welcome.

Kyrenia by any chance?? i know a few sports bars over there that always show the footie.

If you head to the harbour there are 3/4 bars that will put the footie on. I watched city v sunderland (i think) down there last time. i just poped in a few bars the night before the game and asked if they had it on. they checked the schedule on the tv and were more than happy to put it on for us.

You can also go to a bar called "pine bay" owned by a gooner. big projector, A/C, food, beer.

would recommend the latter.

ile be there for the arsenal away game cheering us on, as i always end up missing a match or 2 whilst on my jollys over there.

Cheers guys. I'm in karsiyaka so not too far away from the harbour. Will probably try pine bay then.

If I can get over to the Greek side I'll check paphos's place out. Also may take you up on that offer Jefr if you're still about.
