We bought a 32 year old keeper from a team who'd been relegated from the Bundesliga and he turned out ok - Ortega. In fact, you could argue he's at least as good as Ederson. And I don't remember too many people around Europe busting a gut to snap up Dias, Akanji or Rodri... I'm not saying this lad is as good as these, but if you have the talent and desire then Pep will make you world class.

For me, Kamada would represent a no-risk signing. 54 G/A in the past 3 seasons for Frankfurt. Free, experienced enough but still young, might get significantly better. Pep could potentially work his magic on him, and he would help us cover several positions. I think he could turn out like Akanji or Ortega. If he doesn't, no big deal, we can sell him after 1 season.

I doubt we are going to bring him in, especially in a position we aren't short of quality in. The links with Pavard I can understand as we are about to lose Kyle Walker. I am not completely turning up my nose in signing him as seems it a lower risk signing but I am not in favour in blocking a route for our academy players either

It does make you wonder why he hasn't been snapped up by now.
It looks like his agent/s have been desperate, selling him to virtually every top club in Europe, circulating false info to the media, but still can't attract anyone. It dose tell you something about the guy. Apparently they are now trying to push him to Real Sociedad as they now have Toyota as their sponsor.

I wouldn't be against this signing at all.

Technically very good, presses off the ball very well, can play all across the midfield and still a good age. His numbers from midfield are very good.

On a free transfer, you can't really go wrong.

Nah, we are not that desperate to go for a mediocre player & fill up a space just because he is free.

Was Fernandinho also on a free transfer and couldnt get a contract in any other big club in the world? Or was he a Brazilian International, playing for a CL regular and so expensive he even had to pay a huge amount of money himself to get out of Ukraine?
Good question.
