Dame Barbara Windsor RIP

We all knew she wasn't well but sad nonetheless.

Don't do EastEnders, I know she did much more but she'll always be the cheeky busty blonde off the carryons for me.

RIP Babs.....you gave me many laughs and moments & for that I thank you.

A working class girl who made the very most of her limited talent. Kept some fairly dodgy company in her time, East End villains and gangsters, but the poor girl would have been seen as the ultimate trophy blonde to those seedy predators. A bit like her slightly older (I think) peer Diana Dors. An unmistakable character and the country is poorer for her passing

Yes, there was a type that revelled in the company of London gangsters. Freddie Mills the boxer, John Binden the actor, Princess Margaret, and many others.
Babs was innocent of any serious wrong doing.
RIP.....Seems oddly appropriate.

Ex boxer George Walker and ubiquitous Cockney character Sam Burns around at the time as well, former founded Brent Walker. Took over William Hill Bookmakers and went into liquidation, ended up running a betting operation in Russia, gained, lost, gained and lost fortunes but what a life!!

Is there anyone left apart from Jim Dale who could be classed as regulars from the Carry-ons now?

Must be a right laugh on thier cloud.
Leslie Philips is still around. I just so happened to come across him the other week and was amazed to see he was still alive, pushing a ton. So is Bernard Cribbins, although I don’t think he was in that many.
