Daniel Agger (continued)

That's brilliant then. He doesn't want to leave. All the evidence points to that fact.

So why are you on here repeating this ad nauseum?

Truth be told, I really wouldn't have him. So you're actually cheering me up no end by telling me he's staying. The £25m we'll save will ensure that you'll be scrabbling behind Everton again this season looking for another good cup run to remind you of better days...

I'm just on here bored on a Friday afternoon having a chat. I've no alterior motive other than it's a subject that interest me and wanted to discuss it with fans of the buying club.

I mean the last sentence is just pathetic about Everton. In the words of John Cusack.

Do you *really* believe that there's some stored up conflict that exists between us? There *is* no us. *We* don't exist. So who do you wanna hit, man? It's not me. Now whaddya wanna do here, man?

All hypothetical but Liverpool are covered at CB for now, if they do sell Agger.

who's better kompany or agger? HO

haha, Kompany but I think had Agger not had so many injury problems throughout his career he would have been thought about in the same light as Kompany.

will you light a candle if he leaves?

I'm not really religious but I will take a moment of silence.

When I say moment of silence I mean put my fist through my computer screen.

I half feel like apologizing for the hand of some of the more rowdy BMers.

I thought they signed Coates with big things in mind, we were even linked to him, can't he step in and replace Agger? They still have Carragher too, can Martin Kelly play CB?

From lurking on TLW it seems most were not happy with his performances last year, sort of "their Savic" from what I can gather.

Kelly played CB as a youth and I always thought he would transition back to CB over the next year or two. He really needs to be at least a year further along with plenty of time in the centre to start thinking about him as our regular CB. Coates is a starter for Uruguay but again has had little game time with us to think he could become the main replacement.

It's a little like Savic. Both good prospects but you worry about them having to be thrown into the deep end.

"Buying club"?

You've spend the last couple of days on here telling everyone that Agger isn't going to be sold!

He doesn't want to go (how you would know that I am still uncertain of), the players don't want him to go, the manager doesn't want him to go...

Yet you STILL think we'll be buying him!

I get the feeling that you still think Liverpool are one of the "big boys" and this is a chance to stick it up an upstart like ourselves... that istree will trump dirty money... as I've said, I hope your right, 'cos Agger isn't as good as what we've already got.

As for the John Cusack quote... Mark Kermode will sleep easier in his bed tonight knowing he has one less competitor for his job.

I haven't, I've said every likely hood Agger will be sold.

Whether you buy him or not doesn't really have a bearing on if he would prefer to stay at Liverpool.

Well as with pretty much everything else you say again you would be wrong.

As for the John Cusack quote... Mark Kermode will sleep easier in his bed tonight knowing he has one less competitor for his job.

Name dropping a film critic because I dropped a movie quote. I fail to see the relevance but I'm sure it sounded clever in your head.
