I would never say a loan signing is great.

If he does well it increases his value and he's more in demand so ends up moving to a club that can actually afford to buy him and where he can win trophies.

They will have a season out of him and if they sign the other lad Liverpool could reach the top 4 (long shot I know). If that happens, then it could be classed as great.

Sahin to liverpool is almost done , sahin wanted to got to arsenal for champions league however we are covering a greater percentage of his salary and rodgers being an old mate of mourinho means that madrid finds us better financially and it suits mourinho , ( sky also reported alonso selling lfc to him ) , it seems deal is done

and a great chance that we get tello on loan too

I'd be a bit wary about loan deals.

Difficult to argue with that if those deals come off. Very shrewd moves and would make the 9/4 currently on offer for Liverpool to finish in the top 4 well worth a nibble.

It doesnt when u think about out of the current top 4 what players would any of them of take into their midfield bar maybe sahin at arsenal and no one knows how he settles, gerrard is a legend only in lpool fans mind now, lucas has got so much better since hes been out than he ever was playing, allen i really dont see what people see hes good but not 15m good, shelvey do me a favour.

Im not being disrespectful to lpool I just think you thoroughly overrate the players that play for you which in some respects is a good thing because most city fans look for fault in all our players but if the team was as good as lpool fans think it is then ud walk the league.

Everyone thinks sahin is gonna be amazing how many people have seen him in sustained action, i watched swansea lots last season and allen isnt that great siggurdson was their best mdifielder last year.

Rodgers is seen as some sort of mourinho and guardiola rolled into one because he likes his teams to pass but the reality he is he finished 15th last year with swansea and was a failure in his previous management positions.

Don't rate shelvey and i think allen is a decent player but not top quality. Sahin, lucas and gerrard linking up together would give you a solid midfield base though.
