There's a difference between Tolmie & VVK. VVK was abrasive with it and shouted down practically everybody, "I fucking told you all, listen to me". I said it pages ago, he's a dick.

Much as I like Tolmie, I this his latest exit statement was a bit snide, basically telling someone who questioned him that he was more intelligent and earned more money than them, and didn't care because he 'already has a public audience'. Pretty odd behaviour — and has he also outed himself as a journalist?

He has form though. Has done this before and for a grown man it is indeed strange behaviour. Those that like TH posts are entitled to their opinion. The annoying thing is that it stifles debate and speculation in most transfer threads when his fans jump in and rubbish others discussions with "but Tolmie said this" or "Tolmie said that". Granted, that maybe not TH fault but it fucking annoying.

As it is now, we know the same as we did when TH was on the board, but we dont have to wade through the arse kissing and 30 pages of working how showaddywaddy youtube clips mean we are signing anyone at all...

His downfall was the way he spoke to people, ironic given his inability to deal with the critic's.

I agree with you on this one but as you say, it certainly isn't TH's fault.

De Rossi is the one that springs to mind, TH says we're not interested and then every time that thread gets any positive news posted in it people say "we're not in for him 'cos TH said so".
